Ken Sklute & Stephen Burns are combining their talents to teach a 2 day photography and Photoshop workshop focused on improving your photographic eye to create unique visions from your photography.

On day 1 of the workshop Canon Explorer of Light Ken Sklute will lead a full day photoshoot in the picturesque terrain of Balboa Park where we will focus on perfecting our vision through the camera to create your own unique compositions. In addition due to the popularity tablet mobil devises we will explore the use of the Ipad on location as part of a workfow to perfect the process of image creation. We will explore the use Nik’s Snap Seed, model release and other practical apps for the Ipad.

On day 2 we will meet at the illustrious headquarters of Nik Software where Stephen Burns (author of the Photoshop Trickery & FX series) will guide you to perfecting your vision in Photoshop using your results from the shoot with Ken Sklute. Capturing your image is only half the battle. Now you will learn how to interpret your work in such a way that matches what you are trying to convey artistically. You will also learn techniques that will assist you to directing the viewer attention to the compostional focus of the composition.

We will also explore the use of Nik's software for adding a creative edge onto you work.

Cost: The cost of the workshop is $425 for nonmembers and $399 for members of the San Diego Photoshop User's Group.
